We may collect the following information when you use PawzPoint:

- Pet profile details such as pet name, type, breed, birth month/year, weight, notes, and uploaded pet photos.
- Appointment information such as selected clinic, service, staff member, date, time, status, and related notes.
- Clinic review content that you choose to submit, including rating, comment, and the name shown with the review.
- Approximate or precise location only when you grant location permission for map and distance features.
- Technical information such as device type, app version, IP address, and server logs used to keep the service secure and reliable.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Show clinics, services, appointment availability, pet profiles, and booking history.
- Send account, appointment, password reset, and email confirmation messages.
- Allow clinics and staff to review and manage appointment requests.
- Improve app reliability, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Sharing Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate PawzPoint, including with clinics involved in your appointment requests, infrastructure providers, email providers, authentication providers, analytics or logging tools, and legal authorities when required by law.
5. Third-Party Services
PawzPoint may use services such as Google Sign-In, Google Maps or Places, cloud hosting, database hosting, object storage, email delivery, and app store platforms. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Location Data
If you grant location permission, PawzPoint may use your location to sort or display clinics by distance. You can disable location access in your device settings. Core account and booking features may still work without location access.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect PawzPoint. You may request deletion of your account, subject to records we must keep for legitimate business or legal reasons.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, password hashing, token-based authentication, and server monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices
You may update account details in the app, control location permission from device settings, request a password reset, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
10. Children
PawzPoint is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify users in the app or by email.
