Delete your PawzPoint account
This page explains how to permanently delete your account in PawzPoint, the pet care booking app published by PawzPoint, and exactly what happens to your data.
Option 1 — delete it yourself in the app
The fastest route. Deletion is immediate and needs no approval from us.
- Open PawzPoint and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Type your email address to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
Your account is erased straight away and you are signed out.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
If you cannot sign in, email pawzpointsupport@gmail.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject Account deletion request.
We reply within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity. We may ask you to confirm details from the account before we act, so that nobody else can request deletion on your behalf.
What is deleted, and what is kept

Kept, with your personal details removed
Past appointment records. Clinics keep their own booking history for accounting and record-keeping reasons, so the appointment row itself is not deleted. Before it is kept, the link to you is severed and your details are erased: your name is replaced with “Deleted user”, and your email address, your pet and any notes you wrote are removed.
What remains is the date, time, service, price and status — a business record with no personal data attached to it, which cannot be traced back to you or used to contact you.
Appointments still to come
Any upcoming appointment is cancelled as part of the deletion, so the clinic sees a cancellation rather than a missed booking and the slot is freed for someone else.
Additional retention
Deletion is immediate in our live systems. Encrypted infrastructure backups may still contain your data for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten on a rolling basis. Backups are not used to restore deleted accounts. Server logs containing technical information such as IP addresses are kept for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention, then deleted.
One case we cannot handle automatically
If your account is also linked to a clinic as a staff member or owner, deleting it in the app is blocked, because it would leave that clinic without an operator. Email pawzpointsupport@gmail.com and we will arrange it with you.
Deletion cannot be undone
Once your account is deleted it cannot be recovered, and neither can your pets, photos or booking history. You are welcome to create a new account at any time, but it starts empty.
